Dear Diary – May 31

Call me a nerdophile, but I don’t get upset when my computer at work plays up – I just sit back and wait for the lovely Scott, our resident IT guru.

I’ve been known to angle my way towards him at after work drinks, so I thought why not take our drunken bitching about co-workers to the next level?

“Scotty, it’s Bec from level seven, how are you? (blah blah blah). Anyway, I’ve got two free tickets to a concert next Saturday, and I was wondering if you’d like to come with me?” His response? “Sure that sounds great.”

Yes!

Now what the hell and I going to wear?

    Good for you!!!

I hope your date is a night to remember. As far as what to wear…that depends on your aims for the evening. Just a night out with a cute boy from the office? I’d say something fun and casual. It is a concert after all. Jeans and a nice top (or a cute tank top depending on weather). Want a little more out of the evening? Then, I’d suggest a little more feminine get up. Perhaps a cute skirt and pretty cami? Then again, I haven’t been on a date in a loooong time.

One thing is for sure…don’t forget to shave your legs! :)

You go! For a concert, go for jeans and a sexy top. Nothing OTT but definitely different from your office gear. Let him see you in a different light ;)

    Have fun!

    Hiya Natalina

At first I thought the tom-boy look would be the way to go – but I think jeans and a nice casual top with heels perhaps would be a good compromise. Think I’ll leave the cami for date no.2 if it happens.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hey Cheryl

Yeah. Nothing worse than looking too keen (or desperate) on that first date. I wonder what he’ll wear?
